Handmade 50s style very full skirt in a rich green shade with a border print of colourful leafy plants in red, brown, yellow and rusty orange. Wide snugly fitted waistband and full fit, sewn in wide pleats. Not quite full circle, but very full. Fabric is a cotton blend, slightly thicker than dress weight, so holds the shape really beautifully over a petticoat. Back nylon zipper to fasten and handsewn hooks and eyes to the waistband. No labels. Great 50s inspired cut and style, but made later, possibly 80s era, but hard to say exactly as it is handmade.
